How does "Sort manually using drag/drop" work?

When creating or editing a SmartView, you have the ability to select the following option within the "Sorting Criteria" section:

• Sort manually using drag/drop

If you select this option, you'll be able to sort the items within that SmartView using a "drag and drop UI" at any time after that SmartView is created. To do so:

1. Go to the desired SmartView. How do I do this?
2. Click Actions menu at the top-right.
3. Select Sort Items - Drag and Drop from the menu. (This menu item will only be displayed to: Owners of that SmartView, and Admin users).
4. Follow on-screen instructions to complete the sorting using drag-and-drop interface.

Such on-the-fly sorting can be very helpful when you want to order the items within a SmartView manually - especially when following agile or iterative development methodologies.

📝 Please Note: Only the owners of a SmartView (along with Admin users) have the ability to use drag/drop sorting for that SmartView.
